Precautions

  • If you have any injury, disease, disability or other concern about starting an exercise program, consult your healthcare provider first.
  • If you have poor balance or more serious health issues, you should only start using these products under the supervision of a health or fitness practitioner
  • If you experience any pain, swelling or difficulty with any exercises, STOP immediately.
  • Slight discomfort during exercise is normal, but sharp pain is a message to stop what you are doing and try something easier. If the pain doesn't go away with another activity, stop and consult a doctor.
  • Before beginning any exercise program, we advise that you consult with your healthcare professional to design an appropriate exercise prescription and to avoid the potential harm of doing any inappropriate exercises for a particular problem.
  • Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear
  • It is strongly recommended that you take 5-10minutes to "warm up" before each exercise session.
  • Start gradually if you have been inactive or are limited by a medical condition
  • Slowly build up your sessions, adding time and intensity according to your capabilities.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of liquids before, during & after exercising, to replace lost fluids
  • Avoid exercise if you are acutely ill, including when suffering from cold or flu
