"Exercise is the root of life when you get past 50 years old. If you have people in your family who are over 50 and need to be encouraged to exercise, it would be wonderful for them."
Bobby Joyce Smith
The Resistance Chair is one of the greatest things that I've found. What I like is that I can do this at home. A gym is great, but I think this is a complete gym right at home."
Ron Warner
"I have more energy. I burn more calories, which helps keep me nice and thin. The Resistance Chair has done that for me. It's in the middle of the room and it really helps just to come in and do a few exercises every day."
Margaret Burton
"This Resistance Chair is a great workout. It's real easy to use, easy to set up, and it's real convenient for me. I can keep it here in the office and workout 15 to 20 minutes a day. It's improved my golf game a lot because it's improved my upper body strength. I love it!"
Joe Lopez
"I enjoy fishing. I enjoy walking. Those are very good, but they don't give you a complete workout. This gives you a complete workout."
Dean Danielson
"This chair I use. It doesn't take up much space. I can keep it in my bedroom, where I can get to it every single morning, and that's really neat."
Diane Moon
"I think this is a phenomenal piece of equipment. I've been in and out of gyms for literally over 45 years and with this Resistance Chair I can do most of the exercises without the hassle of going to a gym."
Pete Hanson
"It's nice to have what I call a 'no brainer'. I like the Resistance Chair because it's safe and because you can change the resistance cables and make the intensity more, so it's great for a variety of people. You can work with people with knee problems, shoulder problems, and back problems, and do it in a way where you can work at their level."
Sandy Knight, Senior Fitness Instructor
"As a physical therapist, we see what happens when you don't take care of yourself, when you don't exercise. With the Resistance Chair, with the Mini-Bike system and Freedom Flex shoulder system, it's an all-in-one package, it's a full exercise program, and it's fun to use."
Chuck Heathco, Physical Therapist
"Finally, somebody's come up with a piece of equipment that speaks directly to seniors...That makes them feel comfortable, stable, and supported. What it means is that in the privacy of their own homes, using the instructional DVDs, people are able to get the strength they need to do everyday functional things, to bend, to lift, etc."
Kathy Stevens, Kinesiologist
I am unable to walk and find that the Resistance Chair and its various gadgets, provide me with a means of exercising my body, which is very beneficial for me. The chair is well designed and is of sturdy construction, it is very easy to store. The accompanying DVD's with exercise programes have been devised to ensure a variety of exercises which can be developed in a progressive manner. Thank you

With rather a long drive to my nearest healthclub, I decided to buy a Resistance Chair from Enjoyability and exercise in the comfort of my own home. The chair is incredibly easy to set up and fold away again. Each day I workout for 30 minutes, following one of the exercise DVD's - as if I am actually in a fitness class- Within just a few weeks of using it, I have noticed a great difference in both my stamina and figure.

I suffered a stroke 8 years ago, aged 31. I have left-sided weakness. A few months ago I started to get pain in my shoulder and upper left arm. It was really painful to drive and dress/ undress. Finally the pain kept me awake at night so I went to the doctor. He said it was to do with muscle wastage around the shoulder joint, through lack of use (the stroke). He gave me a cortisone injection, which helped a bit, but he also recommended physio treatment. I waited for 3 months in increasing pain, but no appointment. I found a local physio, who started me off, but said I needed to do the exercises everyday. Increasing range of motion was hard because of the pain. So I looked on the web for another solution and found the Freedom Flex and Resistance Chair. The physio said it was worth a try, and I could do most of the exercises he gave me all from the chair. A few weeks on I was pain free and generally fitter. I still use the chair regularly and the shoulder stretcher when I start to feel a twinge. It was a great investment and recommend it highly, thank you.

I find the resistance chair an immensely valuable part of my everyday life. It is gradually improving my fitness and strength because I can walk and swim further than before. I had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and feel more confident using the resistance chair than going to the gym which is quite inaccessible for older people, as well as being expensive. I can also gradually challenge myself by increasing the resistance, and this helps me to monitor my progress. I don't have a lot of space at home, so the fact it folds up easily is great too.

My Resistance chair and mini-bike have completely changed my life. Following major back surgery which resulted in rods inserted to hold my spine and fusion, I was left wheelchair bound. I found it difficult to hold my head up without pain and found myself stooping for comfort and no excerise was offered to me. After seeing this chair I went to my doctor who thought it was excellent for me, although some of the exercises would not be possible. April '08, I ordered the chair, which was so easy to unpack and use, and have used it nearly every day since. I can truthfully say I am a different person. I sit up straight, comfortably, and have no pain holding my head up now and the strength I have is unbelievable. My clothes hang better and I feel great. I am an OAP so if you are reading this, and feel you to want to change your life for the better, buy this wonderful product, you will not regret it. Thank you to enjoyability for these products and a special thank you to Nancy Terry who helped me so much with her advice. Frances.
